چکیده
The rice crop intensification led to soil degradation and yield decline in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. Therefore, it is necessary classify fertility identify constraints for proper use. legend classified by World Reference Based was converted Fertility Capability Classification system. recommendations appropriate services are suggested. findings indicate seven primary categories, ten diagnostic layers, three features, materials soils of Delta. Eleven were found, most which associated with acid sulfate saline soils. These included low acidity, strong available P, high P fixation, potential Fe toxicity, slightly actual shallow sulfate, deep slight salinity, mineral supply capacity, limited organic carbon content, nutrient retention capacity. Reclamation leaching toxicity boosting nutritional status matter K treatment recommended degraded,

Factors affecting farmers’ adoption of integrated rice–fish farming systems in the Mekong delta, Vietnam
In the Mekong delta, inland fishing and rice production provided a major source of income for rural communities. Since early settlement, the inhabitants have caught fish. Still, fish provides the main source of animal protein in their daily diet (Madan et al. 2005). Fish are caught in flood plains and in rice fields. The wild fish catch has declined since 1970 (Gagauan & Arce 1992), as a result...
متن کاملA Phenology-Based Classification of Time-Series MODIS Data for Rice Crop Monitoring in Mekong Delta, Vietnam
Rice crop monitoring is an important activity for crop management. This study aimed to develop a phenology-based classification approach for the assessment of rice cropping systems in Mekong Delta, Vietnam, using Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) data. The data were processed from December 2000, to December 2012, using empirical mode decomposition (EMD) in three main steps: ...

Actinomycetes are involved in important environmental processes such as the decomposition of organic matter. In this study, we examined the impact of crop rotation on the actinomycetes community colonizing rice straw residues in soil over 3 field seasons by means of Denaturing Gradient Gel Electrophoresis (DGGE) fingerprinting analysis of actinomycetes 16S rRNA gene fragments amplified from fie...
